Helpful to include
- Your iPad model and iPadOS version.
- The GoatNotes version — you will find it in Settings ▸ Legal & Licences.
- What you did, what you expected and what happened instead.
- If a particular .drawio file is affected: the file itself, if you can share it.
Quick answers
- A shape is shown as a placeholder.
- Some draw.io shape libraries are a separate download. Tap the missing-shapes button in the bottom-right corner of the document, or open the document menu ▸ Document Options ▸ Compatibility, to see which library is needed and add it.
- How do I open a file from Files or iCloud Drive?
- Use the document browser on the start screen, or tap a .drawio file in the Files app. GoatNotes saves your changes back to the same file.
- How do I export or print?
- Tap the document’s name to open the document menu and choose Export…. Pick PDF, PNG, JPEG, SVG or .drawio and check the preview before saving or sharing.
