draw.io itself runs in the browser, including Safari on iPad. GoatNotes is a native iPad app that opens and edits .drawio files — with touch, Apple Pencil and offline support — and saves them back in the same format. It is an independent app, not made by or affiliated with the makers of draw.io.
Yes. Open your .drawio diagrams in GoatNotes and keep working on them on your iPad — changes are saved back to the same file. Support for individual shapes and libraries can vary: when a diagram uses a shape library that is not installed, GoatNotes tells you which one and offers to add it.
